The annual BREATHE conference in Sydney is not just another gathering of “the girls”

BREATHE 2019 is a time and place to worship, praise, and pray, to witness four baptisms, and to be inspired to give thousands of dollars to help rescue girls from trafficking in Nepal.

[Sydney] Three incredible days of powerful worship, prayers, testimonies, sermons, drama, workshops, provided a whole lot of warmth and friendship for women attending BREATHE 2019. This annual three-day conference in Sydney, Australia, is not just another gathering of the girls! Women were moved, inspired, and challenged by the Word of God in messages shared by their own local women speakers. The women leaned in and were engaged.

They responded with great compassion by giving $15,999 Australian dollars to the impassioned appeal to help rescue girls from trafficking in Nepal.

Many opportunities were designed for connecting with God and each other through the meaningful prayer sessions, devotionals, and anointing services in the Prayer Room.

The keynote address, “Not That Dress!” by Beryl Landers, Women’s Ministries director of the Greater Sydney Conference, initiated the theme of being clothed with the garments of Elohim. Seven women helped bring to bring to life the godly attributes of kindness, humility, gentleness, patience, love, compassion, and forgiveness through their beauty-pageant-style parade across stage.

The highlight of BREATHE 2019 conference was the baptism of four beautiful women making their public declaration to follow Jesus with more than 500 people cheering them on. Despite the cold water, their joy was not diminished.

The Little Breathers—the children who attended with their mothers—were taught about the love of Jesus by the dedicated Little Breathers team who cared for them with enthusiasm.

Landers exclaims with gratitude for her dedicated team and army of amazing volunteers who made it all possible: "To God be the glory, great things He has done. We can't wait for BREATHE 2020!”
