[Bulgaria] A National Women's Forum in Bulgaria attracted more than 140 men and women participants, some church members, others not. The motto of the conference, "Crossroads of Hope," highlighted the mission-oriented purpose of the event.

Keynote speaker of the forum was Raquel Arrais, associate director of Women's Ministries at the General Conference, who was accompanied by Denise Hochstrasser, director of Women's Ministries for Inter-European Division.

The forum, held in Asenovgrad, March 10-12, 2017, was organized by Jana Bublalova, director of Women's Ministries for the Bulgarian Union of Churches Conference, with the help of a team of ten women. "What pleased me most was the fact that many lay volunteers got involved with the preparation," explained Bumblova. The attendees were also pleased by the numerous surprises that had been prepared for them during the prior six months of planning.
