You can provide seed money for Women's Ministries special projects
There are as many special projects ideas for ministry to women as there are women envisioning how to make a difference in their church congregations and communities.
Women in Botswana chose to minister to disadvantaged people groups by distributing food and clothing to bushmen living in Botswana's settlements. The women's ministries motto in Botswana is 'To Love ... To Care ... To Serve.' Women in this country live the motto as they regularly take on projects such as this. Relationships are developed as they minister to these people, says Susan Williams, women's ministries director for Botswana Union Conference.
While on itinerary in Southern Africa-Indian Ocean Division, Heather-Dawn Small, director of GC Women's Ministries, joined Williams and her team when these needed items and food were delivered to the bushmen. She was particularly moved to see the children in this settlement.
These photos, taken February 2019 in Punjab-Jalandhar, show Premila Masih, women's ministries director for Southern Asia Division (center) delivering two goats, and Raquel Arrias, women's ministries associate director for the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists (below, back row center) distributing ten sewing machines.
These women and their families will be able to survive and become self-sufficient through the ability to sell goat's milk and sew garments.
The need for assistance is far greater than the funds available. Thank you for giving to women's ministries special projects around the world.
