European Women's Ministries directors network together

Leaders from Italy, Portugal, Spain, Austria, Germany, and Switzerland convene to share stories about their thriving work in reaching out to women in Europe.

Inter-European Division (EUD)

[Germany] The Women’s Ministries directors of Italy, Portugal, Spain, Austria, Germany and Switzerland convened at Friedensau University for a consultation and planning session. Women are working together across borders and they are looking for new areas of outreach and new approaches to reach out to all women.

Facilitated by Raquel Arrais, associate director of Women's Ministries at the General Conference, and Denise Hochstrasser, director of Women's Ministries for Inter-European Division, the leaders shared information about how they work in their various countries and made plans for the advancement for it. The work of the Women’s Ministries Department is thriving in this European region, and it is good for the leaders to network. Unfortunately, not all leaders were able to attend the meeting from September 24-26, 2017, following a women's congress at the same location, but they received all the information presented.
