[India] Before the closing ceremony ended the fifth women's congress in Manipur, women asked for the date of the next women’s congress. That response tells a leader the Holy Spirit has been at work. Women who feel spiritually blessed want to relive the experience again and again.

Women solemnly promised to serve God during the spirit-moving commitment service led by Masih. Women departed praising God and rejoicing in spirit.

Premila Masih, director of Women’s Ministries in India, identified elements contributing to the extraordinary experience. Number one, she says, was the punctuality of 400 women at meetings. Other key factors included life-changing testimonies, heart-inspiring music, and mind-engaging seminars with the congress theme “Women in the End Time.” The colorful and enticing presentation of food served at meals added beauty to the entire experience. Exercise also played an important role in satisfaction experienced during the event.

Betty Lyngdoh, director of Women’s Ministries in the Northeast India Union Section, organized and hosted the congress held, December 12-15, 2019, at Blue Star Academy campus in Churachandpur town in the territory of Manipur Conference.
