enditnow Emphasis Day calls Adventists in India to fight against family violence and abuse

Southern Asia Division (SUD)

[India] enditnow Emphasis Day, an initiative of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, was globally observed August 27, 2016. Ladies, young and old, of the Southern Asia Division churches and schools pledged in one accord to fight against the violence and abuse against women. Many rallies were conducted to stop this evil, with men also participating in the events.

The news of Kadapa rally was published in the local newspaper. People appreciated and acknowledged the importance of enditnow, and many requested to have more of such programs to bring awareness to abuse of young and old women in the community and the church.
