Inter-European Division Celebrates Twenty-five Years of the Department of Women's Ministries

The WM website and Facebook page record their story of growth in central Europe.

Inter-European Division (EUD)

Women's Ministries became a department within the Seventh-day Adventist Church organizational structure in 1995. The Women's Ministries department of Inter-European Division (with headquarters in Berne) honored the twenty-five years since then by posting on their WM website and WM facebook page. The twenty-six short posts were published between June 4 and September 6, 2020.

All posts started with: Did you know? #sdawomensministries25, and each post includes its own sequential number, beginning with the first post which is about Mrs. Sarepta M. Irish Henry who began organizing a women ministry department in 1891 at the encouragement of Mrs. Ellen G. White.

When searching for posts, use 1 to 26 as the sequential number in this pattern: #sdawomensministries25 - 1

The posts highlight Women's Ministries pioneers, organization, purpose, mission statement, six challenges, special days, the scholarship program, and introductions to current women's ministries directors leading each union of churches in European countries.
