Women's Ministries in North America publishes Pursued—Bible studies for women

Jesus is the One who pursues His beloved in this new Bible study series for women by Lola Moore Johnston.

North American Division (NAD)

[Maryland, USA] Carla Baker, women's ministries director for the North American Division (NAD WM), recently produced Pursued, the third set of Bible studies for women.

The description of Pursued provided by Pacific Press Publishing Association reminds us that the grateful response to divine love relentlessly pursuing us is worship.

"Through the lens of Mary Magdalene, Lola Moore Johnston introduces Jesus as the One who pursues you as a suitor pursues his beloved. No matter how far you may have fallen, your heavenly Pursuer relentlessly proves that nothing you can do will make Him love you less. Your past, your present, your issues—nothing threatens God’s never-ending love for you. Mary’s story teaches us that the grateful response to such love is worship. As you study the six lessons and watch the video presentations, you will walk with Mary as she is transformed from an outcast in polite society to Jesus’ most ardent supporter and adoring friend. Through the Pursued studies Pastor Lola challenges us to discover for ourselves the healing and transforming power of our divine Pursuer.

"Lola Moore Johnston holds a master of divinity degree from the Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary. She has served as a hospital chaplain in Orlando, Florida, a pastor, and the Young Adult Ministries director in the South Central Conference. Pastor Lola is also a recording artist, author, and empowerment coach. She currently serves as a senior pastor in the Potomac Conference." -- Pacific Press Publishing Association
