Women's Small Groups and Reaping Series Leads to 117 Baptisms

[Cotonou, Bénin] Women Ministries in Eastern Sahel Union Mission launched Big City evangelism in Cotonou and surrounding towns in January by inviting friends and neighbors to join small groups. Bénin is known for Voodoo worship, but the women living in the capital city of the Republic of Bénin desired to bring the light of Jesus Christ to this darkness. In a two-week reaping series in June, more than 90 women preached in 88 evangelistic centers with 117 precious souls baptized. Among those baptized were 20 students at Calavi Univeristy, a wealthy Muslim woman, recently returned from Mecca as an Alhaja, and her son.
