Paraguay Holds First Women's Ministries Retreat

The theme, "With Eyes on Heaven," provides backdrop for a personal encounter with God.

[Paraguay] Women's Ministries in Paraguay held a spiritual retreat in the Eastern zone of the country in the vicinity of Quinta Carballa, April 17, 2021. Due to the pandemic restrictions imposed by the national government, only 100 women were permitted to attend, but they were representatives from all over the country.

The retreat, “With Eyes on Heaven,” featured speakers, Pastor Antonio Funes, Ministerial Association director in Paraguay, Heydi Lázaro, psychologist and pastor's wife, and Nélida Salguero, Women’s Ministries director in Paraguay. Topics presented by Salguero included, "Walking with God," "You Will Receive Power," and "Faithful Woman."

The objectives of the annual retreat are to provide women with the experience of being in the presence of God, hearing His voice, and having a personal encounter with Him.

Women’s Ministries in Paraguay understand that the revival of the church begins in a personal way. Therefore, working in the heart of women is a great influence for the spiritual well-being of the home; the main key in bringing a complete family to the feet of Christ.
