[Romania] Sabbath, February 1, 2020, Women’s Ministries leaders from the church congregations of the North Transylvania Conference participated at the Dej church in a convention called, “The Woman of Good News,” with the motto: The Lord has done great things for us (Psalm 126:3).

Fifty-seven women who are responsible for the WM groups in their churches came to this meeting to discuss and decide their goals for the year 2020 and to praise God together. The convention also provided help for sisters in preparing for the missionary activities during the time during the month of February, preceding the International Women’s Day period of March 1 to 8, a week dedicated to women throughout the entire country of Romania. Women’s Ministries leaders from several different churches shared their successful work methods, discussed what works in their churches, and exchanged experiences for their next activities.

Petronela Bob, WM director of the North Transylvania Conference, gave the keynote presentation for the conference. She spoke about the Women’s Ministries (WM) department of the church and its important role, as a useful and efficient tool in evangelistic work. The participants enjoyed learning through a variety of seminars. A specialist in nutrition, Corina Pelin, spoke about the Health of the Brain. A psychologist, Simona Anca, former WM director in Spain, discussed Group Dynamics for Christian Women. Lidia Poll, the previous WM director of the North Transylvania Conference, offered a seminar on Self-Esteem. Liliana Radu, the WM director of the Romanian Union, encouraged and motivated the women to work for the glory of God in saving precious souls.

Time was given for socializing with each other during a lunch, and throughout the day, a group of gifted and consecrated young people inspired the attendees with good music.

May God bless the women all over the world! Maranatha!
