[Principe] More than 150 women of São Tomê and Principe—islands in the South Atlantic Ocean’s Gulf of Guinea—attended the Women’s Ministries (WM) congress, “Making a Difference.” The women camped in the beautiful natural surroundings of the island of Principe.

An enditnow march closed the congress. The march brought attention in the surrounding community to the dangers of domestic violence.

The islands are an attached field of Southern Africa-Indian Ocean Division (SID) of Seventh-day Adventists. Caroline Chola, SID WM director, was guest speaker.

The untouched vegetation of this beautiful island has not been exploited, and its natural environment was being commemorated at the same time by the World Environmental Organization.
