“Abuse of Power”

Southern Asia | SUD WM | November 3, 2022 | Pramila Missah

Seventh-day Adventists throughout Southern Asia Division speak out against abuse.

Most churches shared the message of enditnow® Emphasis Day 2022, "Abuse of Power," in their churches and communities. enditnow is a global initiative of the Seventh-day Adventist Church to raise awareness and advocate for the end of violence and abuse.

Besides participating in the regular church program, some congregations held afternoon seminars and sessions of prayer to provide awareness in churches and community.

Young girls and a few men supported women at the rallies and marches. Many groups carried enditnow banners as they walked through towns and villages. Placards displayed messages in their own languages with slogans, such as, “Stop violence against women and children,” “Stop emotional abuse,” “Say No! to violence,” and “Enditnow.”

Many witnessed the community awareness events led by Women’s Ministries. All Praises to God!
