Women in Western Sahel organize prayer sessions, cut the anniversary cake, and shared messages of hope on social media.
Good day to you. May the blessings of the Lord be with you.
I hereby write to inform you that the twenty-fifth anniversary of Women's Ministries has not yet been celebrated officially in West-Central African Division; this is due to the effect of COVID-19 that made all the churches and gatherings to be closed since the middle of March. It is now that the churches are opened and life begins gradually.
Notwithstanding, two mission fields and one conference celebrated the anniversary in their little corner during Women's Ministries Emphasis day in June. These are Gambia Mission, Senegal Mission, and Cape Verde Conference, all in Western Sahel Union Mission.
They celebrated the day by organizing prayer sessions for women both Adventists and non-Adventists, cut anniversary cake, and shared messages of hope to women through the social media such as Facebook and WhatsApp videos.
I hereby send few photos we could get from Gambia and Senegal.
