Southern Asia-Pacific Division Women's Ministries Activities during COVID-19

Women hold virtual public evangelism meetings and they themselves are blessed.

Southern Asia-Pacific Division (SSD)

During this pandemic this year, when we planned to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Department of Women's Ministries, the SSD WM department was able to distribute some funding to WM departments in thirty-two financially challenged missions to be used for assisting needy families, widows, elderly or ill people during the global pandemic.

Another first-time activity organized in bold faith by SSD WM was media evangelism using "Christ's Amazing Love" series with nine to twelve topics. The division-wide media evangelism (9-12 topics) done by unions, then by conferences and missions in collaboration with the pastors’ wives and lay women leaders from June to December.

After their first opportunity in preaching via zoom and Facebook livestream, women and pastors’ wives didn’t want to stop. They are personally blest in proclaiming the gospel to the world!

In addition, the women in Central Mindanao Mission of the Philippines held evangelistic series. The theme of their virtual meetings was "The Way to Eternal Life." These evangelistic meetings were their own celebratory observance of the Women's Ministries' twenty-fifth anniversary.

East Visayan Conference and West Visayan Conference each held evangelistic series.
