New Year’s message from women's ministries director
Dear Friends,
A new year has begun and with it so have the joys and challenges of 2019. Some things never change, and I don’t think these two – joys and challenges – should change. Joyful experiences give me a reason to praise God and give Him thanks. Challenges give me a reason to pray and to strengthen myself in the Word for more challenges to come.
As you face 2019, may this be a year that brings you closer to God as you encounter the ups and downs, good times and bad times, and the joys and challenges of the coming months.
Let me leave you with two Bible verses: “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose” (Romans 8:28), and “Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you” (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18).
