"And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love." 1 Corinthians 13:13
Women’s Devotional Book
Bible writers also splashed color throughout their narratives: the priestly breastplate, Joseph's multi-colored coat, Rahab's scarlet cord, Lydia's purple cloth. Before that God colored His world—from cornflower blues and ruby reds of the first rainbow to the gemstone oranges, mint greens, and purples of the foundation of the New Jerusalem.
Today Jesus invites His daughters to color their world. Not only with resources, time, and talent but also in hues of faith and hope, always remembering that "the greatest of these [colors] is love" (1 Corinthians 13:13, NKJV). Witness, then, the broad strokes with which women in these stories have colored their spheres of influence as they fight human trafficking, adopt abused animals, slip shoes on the feet of a suffering stranger, and routinely forego Christmas dinners to feed the homeless.
And what about you? Heaven has already provided your canvas and coloring materials. So what are you waiting for? Go . . . and color your world with His love!

Writers Needed for the Women’s Devotional Book
Submissions are now being accepted for the 2022 devotional book. Deadline is August 30, 2020.
Be a Blessing
The God-inspired devotional book project began in 1992 as a one-time idea to raise funds for Women’s Ministries scholarships, but the book was so well received, and so many blessings flowed from it, that the books just kept coming—and kept blessing. Book readers are blessed, writers are blessed, scholarship recipients are blessed, and financial donors are blessed. And blessings continue to flow from the service these amazing women provide for the church. Among Friends (shown) is the first edition of the devotional book, published for 1993.
